Respect the stall
We buy what we taste, tip where it’s right, and never block a busy counter for a photo op.
About ShukBites
We’re not a classroom. We’re a walking appetite — hosts who grew up on Carmel Market noise and still chase the perfect pita fold.
Our story
ShukBites started when friends kept asking for “the real Tel Aviv lunch” — not a restaurant reservation, but the stalls you only find when someone waves you over.
Today we lead small tasting walks through Carmel Market and nearby food streets. We introduce vendors by name, explain what you’re tasting as culture and craft, and leave the wellness lectures at home.
“Taste first. Ask second. Come back hungry.”
How we walk
We buy what we taste, tip where it’s right, and never block a busy counter for a photo op.
You’ll hear how bourekas traveled, why hummus is a morning ritual, and what “just one more” really means here.
Intimate groups mean every guest gets a full tasting and a chance to ask the vendor a real question.
Milestones
Friends-of-friends tours through Carmel — notes scribbled on napkins, falafel oil on our sleeves.
We formalized routes, partnered with favorite stalls, and opened bookings for travelers and locals alike.
Evening food-street walks join the daytime classics — same curiosity, warmer lights.
We’re at the Carmel Market entrance most mornings, ready to walk when you are.
